We invest in our recruitment process, we ensure selecting, recruiting, and training Our caregivers are our top priority, and we want to equip them with the necessary skills required to care and support you for a wide range of needs. Our Carers go through a rigorous DBS check to make sure that you are safe and are with trustworthy Carers.

We recruit individuals who are passionate, who have the right qualities and attitude to deliver care to you or your loved one. We ensure that families rest assured knowing that their loved one is receiving the best care. Our caregivers do not only have the skill but also are compassionate when delivering care and support.

We take proper care and consideration during our caregiver and client pairing process, as this is of importance to us. We take note of skills and attributes, outlooks and personality of carers to clients. This is done to ensure that caregivers and clients build a mutual and genuine bond. Hence, an easy transition into our care and support plans.

FRIENDLY I CARE provides high standard domiciliary care (also referred to as home care) and support to help keep you comfortable, safe, and helping you to live independently in your own home. Our aim is to support you in order to maintain your current lifestyle. We look at each of our customers as a unique individual that has their own individual preferences and requirements.

FRIENDLY I CARE believes that it is your life and you have a say in how you want to live it, therefore we aim to keep you in control and provide you with domiciliary care in order to support what you want, where and how.

We assign each service user with just two or three carers, as we try to limit the disruption of your daily routines and feel that by offering this we provide stability, safety, and peace of mind, which allow you and your carer to get to know each other, without interruptions of un-known or un-wanted guests.

Our committed On-Call operators play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services. They oversee roster checks, monitor caregivers’ punctuality, and meticulously manage the duration of each visit, ensuring that our clients receive the utmost care.

Our On-Call operators are extensively trained to handle emergencies, providing essential intervention as needed. This includes:

  • Liaising with out-of-hours GP services and District Nurses

  • Coordinating with emergency services and contacting next of kin

  • Engaging with social services emergency duty teams

  • Conducting welfare checks to ensure safety

  • Reporting and locating missing individuals

  • Addressing medication inquiries and concerns

  • Offering guidance and support to community care staff during crises

Our flexibility in the home care services has earned us so much trust and confidence among our Service Users. Whether you need an hourly service once a day or 4-times a day for the 7 days, FRIENDLY I CARE will accommodate your needs. FRIENDLY I CARE provides a personalized support plan to help you achieve the things you love and do every day in the comfort of your home. Our carers are professionals and dedicated in what they do. What we offer

We have a varied list of services including: Flexible domiciliary care services with check-in visit, personal care, and 24-hour live-in care. We also offer a short-term service (maybe after an illness or your current carer is on holiday). We also provide a long-term home care service. Our specialized team of homecare assistants are trained to do the following:

  • Help with a ‘good morning’ start to the day, they can help you with getting up, washing, showering and bathing, dressing and having breakfast.

  • Assisting with medicine, whether it is to remind you to take them, collect, or return them from your pharmacy / dispensing GP surgery.

  • Help in preparing meals with you or for you and assist during mealtimes.

  • We offer convenient shopping assistance, including transportation to and from the shops, as well as helping you with organising your purchases.

  • Assistance with various household tasks such as ironing, laundry, or keeping your home clean and tidy.

  • Assistance with your daily social activities, including going out for a walk, attending your local day center, meeting up with friends and family or going to your religious center’s or clubs.

  • Help with pampering when you require it. Assisting with the occasional bathing, cleaning of clothes, fresh bedding as well as carefully prepared meals before you go to bed.

  • Assistance with the end of the day activities including getting ready for bed.

  • Support for overnight, ‘sleeper’ or waking assistance, respite care for 24-hour live-in care service.
